Update: Thanks to pressure from the Conservatives and the public Labour have finally done the right thing and announced social media age restrictions for under-16s.

We've forced Labour into another U-turn. But we're still waiting for detail. We will be pushing for comprehensive action on the threats the digital world poses to children
