UPDATE: We've forced Labour to release the first tranche of files related to Peter Mandelson's appointment as US Ambassador.
These documents confirm what we already knew: Keir Starmer was aware of Mandelson’s relationship with the world’s most notorious paedophile when appointing him US Ambassador.
Another Update: Peter Mandelson failed his security vetting clearance.
And the Foreign Office invoked a seldom-used power to override the recommendation of the security services.
The Prime Minister claimed full due process was followed. That is misleading to Parliament. He should resign.
